The Mayfair is an affordable performance venue maintained for the benefit of the Dunedin Community and the groups within it.

We encourage participation in the performing arts by providing a venue for those groups for whom alternatives are too big, too expensive, or lack the necessary facilities.
Each year up to twenty performing arts groups use the Mayfair including Musical Theatre, Opera, Dance, Bands (Brass, Pipe and Rock), School and Youth Group productions.
