Mobility Assistance Dogs (Mobility Dogs) is a charitable trust training assistance dogs for people with disabilities. Mobility dogs are trained to functionally assist with tasks such as retrieval of dropped items, opening doors, pressing lift/pedestrian buttons, turning lights on/off, loading laundry, barking for help on command & more . . . depending on individual needs. They also support clients to feel less isolated and more involved in the community.
Mobility dogs assist people with a range of disabilities including cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's and spinal injuries to name a few.
