Mothers Network help women unpack the challenges of motherhood through facilitated groups, using a proven 6-week programme.
Wellington
Mothers Network provides a safe physical and emotional space where people who are experiencing motherhood can explore their changing identity and the complex emotions that come along with this. We promote equity of primary care giving, lifting up this experience as one of the most transformational experiences humans can undergo. The outcome is a validation and expression that is a critical component of mental health and wellbeing of women experiencing motherhood.
Not everyone enjoys being a mother and many often find themselves in the role with sometimes quite unrealistic expectations placed upon them. Mothers Network can help. We bring mothers together to unpack what motherhood means for them through peer-to-peer network groups, using a proven, facilitated 6-week programme. At the end of the programme, many mothers comment they have found their tribe and made connections that will remain for years to come.
Our intention is to always make these sessions free for mothers to attend so no-one feels it is beyond their means. We operate partly on a "pay-it-forward" model where previous attendees (who have the capacity) have contributed to costs once they have passed through so others can also take advantage of the programme. Support from grant providers and generous donors like yourself also ensure we can keep the doors open.
We thank you for your consideration and support of our mission.
