Mental Wellbeing. Artistic Endeavour. Youth Support.
The Fund sees advancement in these three objects as central to New Zealand's success. As a new charity, our near term vision is to build an enduring, perpetual endowment so we may make annual distributions to individuals, organisations and other charities which enable the advancement of these beneficial objects.
1. Mental Wellbeing. Regarding depression, anxiety, or other mental health conditions – advancing research, prevention, detection, treatment, patient support (both financial and non-financial), and/or community awareness (including reducing stigma and discrimination of sufferers).
2. Artistic Endeavour. Regarding the arts, with a particular focus on literature and the performing arts – advancing awareness, appreciation, and/or development.
3. Youth Support. Regarding young people under the age of 30 years, with a particular focus on LGBTIQ and disadvantaged youth – advancing access to and opportunity for education, training, mentoring, and/or social support.
The MSPB Fund (NZ) is a charitable trust established to build a perpetual, enduring endowment. Each year, the Fund makes distributions to individuals and other charities to advance the Fund's beneficial objects - mental wellbeing, artistic endeavour, youth support.
