The Trust's vision is to work with the community on projects that help look after and restore the natural value of the Sounds. Working with landowners, local businesses, the community and Government, we are helping protect the Sounds paradise - hectare by hectare, tree by tree.
The Trust's flagship programme is the control of wilding pines throughout the Marlborough Sounds. For the first time, a strategic and planned approach to wilding pine control is being undertaken in the Sounds and on a scale far larger than any work done previously.
