We support and empower regional Newcomers Network to do their amazing work in creating and providing social opportunities for newcomers to connect and make friends.
It is hugely challenging to move to a new place (whether from overseas or from within New Zealand), to find a social network and to find opportunities for making friends. To find a sense of belonging makes all the difference.
Newcomers networks facilitate a range of events and activities open to everyone, regardless of age, gender, race, ethnic origin, religious belief. Most activities are free of charge.
