Ni Hao Children's Community is a fun & friendly place for children and their families to learn Mandarin Chinese as a Foreign Language.

We are a community organisation here to help children and families who want to learn Mandarin Chinese with a New Zealand twist and context, making it more relevant to children growing up in this environment.

Our belief is that learning a foreign language becomes easier and is more natural if you include conversations about everyday topics that interest the children, and make the learning active, fun and cool!

We need financial support to develop the programme and resources.

Ni Hao Children’s Community charitable trust is a fun & friendly place for young Kiwi children and their families to learn Mandarin Chinese in Wellington.

We provide immersion Mandarin Chinese Classes for children and families who want to learn and use Mandarin Chinese as a foreign/second language.

We prioritise developing the oral and listening language skills of children, and have less focus on academic reading and writing. Our classes are child-centred in their approach and we "learn by doing"!
