North Island Alpine Search Dogs

We are the local Avalanche search and rescue dog teams for the Ruapehu and North Island. Currently we have three handlers, one is operation while two are still in training (soon to be novice handlers). Our teams need a new uniform to identify them on Mount Ruapehu easily. The handlers would like to invest in some Avalanche safety equipment to make their training scenarios as safe as possible. They also need assistance to cover costs to get to and from Mount Ruapehu for training. The in training teams will also need assistance to travel to the South Island for the Operation assessment later in the year.
