Otago Access Radio

Every dollar you donate helps give Dunedin people a voice in the media - making radio by, for and about our diverse communities.

Your donation to Dunedin-based station OAR FM will make it possible for us to offer free broadcaster training, help us to maintain equipment for 105.4FM, 1575AM and online broadcasts, and enable free access to the airwaves for young people through Youth Zone.

More about us

OAR FM Dunedin is a vibrant, not-for-profit station, hosting programmes by, for and about our local communities. We broadcast from Dunedin on 105.4FM and 1575AM, and stream live from oar.org.nz

Our aim is to provide the diverse range of groups and individuals that make up the fabric of our society with a voice – encouraging participation, information sharing and involvement in community life.

This guarantees listeners a fascinating blend of information, opinion and debate, along with an ad-free, entertaining mix of jazz, soul, blues, reggae and world music that includes the work of many talented New Zealand and local artists.

As part of the network of 12 Community Access stations nationwide, we exist to provide you with opportunities to get involved in making, supporting or sponsoring programmes aimed at Dunedin and Otago listeners.
