Parenting is the hardest but most rewarding work many of us will ever do. A supportive community is vital for the well-being of families. Parents Centres provide safe and inclusive spaces for parents to seek support, friendship, advice and education. Thousands of families attend our pregnancy and parent education every year.

Parents Centres mission is: Positive birth experiences and informed parenting in a community where parents are highly valued and supported in their role.

Funds raised on this page enable us to keep supporting Kiwi families through our volunteer run Parents Centres from Gore to Whangarei. Developing education programmes, training facilitators, supporting volunteers and advocating for New Zealand parents are just some examples of what we do.

OUR VISION:

New Zealand being a society that values parenting as being fundamental to the wellbeing of all members of society which sew the fabric of our social structure together.

Parents Centres has 48 volunteer run Centres across NZ delivering vital education and support services to parents. We deliver Pregnancy, Childbirth & Parenting Education classes to over 5000 expectant mothers and their partners each year.

Our coffee groups are our point of difference and give new parents a connection with their community, a place to find support with other parents going through the same experiences as them.
