Permaculture in New Zealand's mission is to act as a national hub in promoting and empowering permaculture education, activism and advocacy

Auckland

Running annual national hui, moderating permaculture education in NZ, coordinating a permaculture emergency response team.

More than 2000 New Zealanders have attained Permaculture Design Certificates.

The emergency response team was active in Christchurch following the 2011 Earthquakes, demonstrating and teaching the establishment of composting toilets as a safe alternative when the municipal system is out of action.
