Platinum Community Centre is a stand-alone adult dementia day centre.

Platinum’s service enables family members to have a well-deserved break from their caring duties. Our main aim is to enable people to remain in their own homes for as long as possible. To help families the centre also offers a free pick up and drop off service. Platinum does not receive any direct government funding hence the need for us to raise funds in other ways.

Respite NZ Trust's mission is to provide Dementia day support services in our local communities. This gives families the support they need as they continue to care for their family member in their own homes. Our day centre facility encourages our clients to engage in meaningful activities offering cognitive and physical stimulation to promote a greater independence.
Use of funds
The centre also offers a pick up and drop off service. It is becming more difficult to offer this pick up and drop off service at no charge. We need on-going funds to keep our vans on the road. Please help us to help others in our community.
