Pohutukawa Trust New Zealand (the Trust) was established in 1992 and has had a long established objective to rehabilitate the native flora and fauna of Kawau Island and has developed and achieved considerable experience and progress to the present time.

The Trust received the Green Ribbon award from the Ministry for the Environment for it environmental work in 2003.

Kawau Island is a very important place for the Trust, the Kawau Island community, the greater Auckland region and in deed New Zealand as a whole. It represents a significant chapter and place in the history of the country.

Please help us to save and rehabilitate the native flora and fauna of Kawau Island.
