We are currently experiencing a financial crisis and need emergency funds to keep this wonderful and important service operating in Nelson
Postnatal Support Network Nelson has been supporting Mums and their families/whanau for over 25 years. We offer free and confidential support when Mums are suffering from Postnatal Distress and/or Anxiety. Over the last couple of years (and especially this year!) we have had a huge increase in referrals for Mums needing our service, and unfortunately, our funds haven't been able to cover our expenses.
We offer such important and valued support during, what can be, an really difficult time and as the first three years of a babies life are the foundation for their future, it is our pleasure to support Mums and their Partners to ensure, the best possible start to life. This has a hugely positive impact on not only the Mothers, but also the baby, family/whanau, and the Community as a whole.
At the moment, we are in need of some funds to keep this valuable service going for Mums in the Nelson area.
We are a non-profit Organisation that supports Mums who are suffering from Perinatal Depression and/or Anxiety. We offer free confidential advice, resources and support from trained and experienced Support Workers and Counsellors (one to one, telephone and Groups)
