Red Door Recovery

Good people make bad decisions. This does not mean they are bad people; it means they are human. We can help them.

Wellington

Crystal methamphetamine, in particular, is tearing families and communities apart throughout New Zealand. And it is not just about gang colours, it is also about white collars and everyone in between. People like your parents, your siblings, your partner, son or daughter. Red Door Recovery has a unique, holistic drug and alcohol recovery programme which is making a real difference. Sadly, many of our potential clients cannot raise the funds to cover the hard costs of the programme. Attempts to get funding from Government seem futile. And if we cannot build the fence then the only thing waiting below is an ambulance, a prison van, or a hearse. Addiction is a mental health issue, not a failing. Together, with your help, we can save some good souls by sponsoring them into our programme - for the initial, intensive three weeks followed by daily support for a minimum of one year, through our online Red Door Recovery Graduates' group.

More about us

We have been operating a unique, holistic drug and alcohol recovery programme for 11 months as a not-for-profit, and achieving impressive results. We view addiction as a mental health issue, not as a failing. Our programme is built on compassion, empathy and trust. 100% of all funds raised will be used to pay for people to fund the hard costs of our programme (or any other approved programme). This is for genuinely good people who want to transform but do not have the funds to meet the costs. The focus will be on methamphetamine, which is tearing families and communities apart throughout New Zealand.

Use of funds

100% of all funds received will be used to sponsor clients who are truly deserving, in a dark place through environmental reasons, and who genuinely want ton transform their lives and become the good people they once were.
