Auckland
ROMAC brings children to NZ and Australia for life saving and/or dignity restoring surgery provided by experienced surgeons at no cost. Children are accompanied by a parent and are billetted with a family of their own culture for their time in NZ. ROMAC pays for passports, visas, airfares and a living allowance.
Before and after photographs speak for themselves - all surgeries carried out to date have been successful. Further photos and stories are on ROMAC's website - www.romac.org.nz. ROMAC helps between 6 and 18 patients per year depending on the complexity of the disability and available funds.
