Salute Wairoa Project

Salute Wairoa Project

This collaborative WW1 project is about those who gave their lives, those who returned, those who worked at the home front… A Minutes Silen

Hawke's Bay

A Minutes Silence is not Enough!

This WW1 project is about those who gave their lives, those who returned… Their stories have never been collected. SALUTE Wairoa is a salvage operation so our youth can appreciate the sacrifice undertaken.

A interactive, multi-media TouchTable, tracing the profiles of every WW1 Veteran, will be exhibited throughout the district and the Wairoa Museum.

The project needs to raise almost $200,000 by January 2015. Thank you to everyone who has given so generously, we only need another $26,000.

This project will become a district wide memorial and it allows us to purchase the technology for the benefit of the entire district.
