The Sense Move Grow Trust has a vision to provide a place of belonging, a place to learn about your body, to enjoy sensory experiences, and to use that learning to grow. We want to develop a community of people dedicated to enriching the lives of those of who need it.

A place they can call their own.

A place to activate their internal Senses, so they can understand their body and its needs.

A place to Move, in whichever way they can.

A place to Grow, friendships, relationships, and a place to learn.

More about us

We are a charity wanting to create a Therapy & Recreational Space in Christchurch for the Disabled and Special Needs Community. We believe people of all ages and abilities need a place to experience movement, sensory outlets and to learn, interact and grow as an individual. Our purpose is to provide a place for those seeking challenges and experiences.

Use of funds

The funds raised will be used to lease a space to create the Sense Move Grow Centre. This centre will be created with 3 separate spaces, a Gym for sensory and physical experiences, a Hangout zone for interaction with others, and a workshop for running therapy workshops, music and movement classes, sporting events, holiday programs and other pursuits of interest to the community.
