NZ-Filipino Devotees of Senyor Sto Niño-Sinulog NZ

The NZ-Filipino Devotees of Senyor Sto. Niño brings together devotees of the Holy Child Jesus (Señor Santo Niño) in the greater part of New

Auckland

The devotees are made up of both New Zealand and Filipino Catholics who believe in keeping a tradition of prayer and thanksgiving for Señor Santo Niño. We value the traditional Filipino traits of piety, friendship and hospitality. We would like to inspire the community to live their faith through various projects throughout the year that promote family values.

For 19 years, New Zealanders of Philippine origins look forward to one of the most colourful festival in Auckland - the Sinulog Festival. Celebrated every 3rd Sunday of January, the annual celebration is becoming one of the important display of Asian culture in New Zealand. Sinulog is history presented in colourful pageantry, dance and music like no other.
