Supporting SHFNZ enables clear, relevant information to be brought forward to individuals, communities of interest, business and government.
Sleep Health Foundation NZ Trust is formed to shine a light on the challenges our communities face from Sleep Disorders and Excessive Daytime Sleepiness. Its work is all about sleep health and the power of transformation that can occur for individuals, families, communities and the New Zealand public when quality sleep is present.
Our vision is a New Zealand community that recognises and values the importance of good sleep health as a route to personal well-being, safety, productivity and quality of life.
Sleep Health Foundation comprises its membership and volunteer board made up with Expert Sleep Practitioners, Sleep Researchers, Sleep Academics and Community.
Our current focus is delivery of an annual Sleep Health Awareness Week programme, aligned with the World Sleep Day Project. In 2019 this will take place over the week 11-15 March.
This week will target the stimulation of a million conversations about sleep.
