Our mission is to prevent drowning and injury in the Northern Region. We ensure that our Lifeguards deliver the highest quality patrol and rescue services every summer. We also help build capability at our 18 Clubs and provide surf education to schools and the wider community, helping the public to stay safe on our coastlines from one year to the next.
Last season our Lifeguards rescued 447 people, enabling them to return home to their families. 14,631 beach goers were removed from danger and 503 first aid treatments were administered. This is why Surf Life Saving Northern Region exists - we are here for the safety of the wider community of the Northern Region!
