Stopping Violence Dunedin Inc (SVD) programme is the most effective way of helping men and women understand their use of violence and learn new ways of being free from violence.

Private counselling is offered to anyone not suited to group work or who prefers privacy.

Kaiwhakaruruhau, a holistic support service for people of all cultures and their whanau/family who have had issues with family violence. This service reaches right out to the heart of our communities to support whanau/families and tamariki/children to achieve a safer, happier life.

For youth we offer an anti bullying campaign named (BoB). Our programme reaches out to schools and training programmes and individuals with education creativity and support to eliminate bullying in our communities.Support us to deliver better lives free from violence for Dunedin families

Stopping Violence Dunedin (SVD) is the lead agency for Otago/Southland area and provides a range of integrated services focusing on all forms of violence in the Otago Region/Southland region. We have an anti Bullying service, Bail on Bullying. Kaiwhakaruruhau (family centred service) Crisis line,Stopping violence groups for men and women, private Therapy and more.
