Street Cats South Canterbury

Street Cats South Canterbury

We aim to vastly reduce the stray cat population in South Canterbury using a trap, neuter and rehome programme.

Canterbury

Street Cats South Canterbury takes in stray cats and kittens from all over South Canterbury. Many of these cats and kittens need a lot of vet care and socialising due to their rough start in life. Some just need a little time and patience, others such as abandoned kittens need syringe fed until they are old enough to eat on their own.

All of our board members work full time at their own jobs as well as running Street Cats the rest of the time ( it is a full time job itself )

We rely on donations from the public to carry on our work and are very grateful for any donation we receive be it big or small.

Cornelius   9 May 2025

Wee Cornelius came in today, and he needs to have his eye removed on Monday. This is the 3rd eye removal surgery we have had to get done in the past 4 weeks. Any donation towards this would be very much appreciated
