St Vincent De Paul, Christchurch City Area

Our members and volunteers make regular visits and give assistance to; individuals and families in need, the elderly and sick, those in our local prisons, and the homeless in our local communities. We also provide a welfare line and food bank, as well as clothing and furniture for refugees and migrants others in need.

In Christchurch, we have hundreds of members and volunteers both young and old, doing good works throughout our community every day. A recent audit of our welfare lines showed that we assisted over 550 individuals in one week alone in the Christchurch area. Of course this does not include the many regular unrecorded visits that our members make each week.
