We are the "Buddy Organisation" who mentor newly injures spinal patients.

Main image

TASC provides a "Buddy" for peer support while in the spinal unit. TASC also provides Back on Track sessions, outings, art and computer classes ( the tutors of these classes are people in wheelchairs). We are involved with budgeting and the sexuality programme. We have a yearly "Show Off Day" an open day to the public.

TASC was started in 1991 by a group of high level tetraplegics who fought ACC for 24 hour care and won. Since then it has grown to become the 'Buddy'" organisation and has continued to grow and evolve into a unique support group for all people with spinal concerns.
