Tauranga Womens Refuge is a women centred and not for profit community organization working with communities to support women and their children affected by Domestic Violence

Tauranga Womens Refuge is a Incorporated Society (218587) the members are responsible for the overall governance, operations, management and services delivery to women and their children affected by Domestic Violence

Tauranga Womens Refuge receives approximately $189,000 annually from Ministry of Social Development to provide access to 24 hour – 7 days Crisis Line, Safe House shelter and Community based advocacy, information, education, awareness services and programs. The remaining $350,000 must be raised through fundraising, fundraisers, sponsorship, bequests, endowment, funding applications and donations to Keep the Doors Open.
