    Suzi

Suzi is our daughter in law. She and her husband Chris lost their baby at 23 weeks. It's Suzi's birthday tomorrow and instead of a present she asked for a donation to be made to The Grief Centre as they had been so supportive to them.

Thank you so much Carolyn - your donation means so much to our clients. It will allow us to provide some professionally written booklets to a family who are bereaved by suicide and are experiencing overwhelming feelings of grief, as well as allowing access to one of our South Auckland support groups for someone who can’t afford to come otherwise. We'd love to thank you personally if you'd like to get in touch.

Thank you so much for your kind donation to the Grief Centre. This is very much appreciated and will enable us to provide several services in 2017. We will be using the money to provide 15 free counselling sessions to vulnerable families; bereavement support calls for 1 year for 4 people who have recently lost a family member; free access to our bereavement support groups for 5 people, and lastly 5 sets of booklets for Victim Support to hand out that will help children and adults who are recently bereaved and are experiencing overwhelming feelings of grief. On behalf of the people who will reach out to us over the coming months, we thank you for your support. We'd love to keep you updated on our progress - just email Cathey at office@griefcentre.org.nz
