Malcam Trust is an innovative, collaborative Trust providing support and services to Rangatahi and their whanau in the Otago Community.
Otago
The Malcam Charitable Trust is a Youth Not for Profit agency, servicing the Otago region. Malcam has 12 staff who support rangatahi over a range of services in the Dunedin, Clutha and Waitaki areas.
Malcam uses activity based learning, real life scenarios and youth led activities to be able to promote good life choices, goal setting and confidence building.
Our services include:
• Behavioural and motivation mentoring
• Small group engagement
• After school youth programmes
• full time 10 week youth development programmes
• Youth Council coordination
• Employment and pathway planning
• Life skills development
• High and complex needs support
• Transitional support (intermediate-secondary-tertiary)
• Bikes@Malcam
In 2020, despite the Covid-19 lockdowns, Malcam Charitable Trust still managed to assist over 2000 young people in the Otago districts. We are reliant on donations to be able to continue to do our fantastic mahi. Please donate today!

Malcam’s founding belief is that young people do make a difference and long lasting growth and change can occur through positive learning experiences. We recognise young people are an invaluable and integral part of community and provide them with as many opportunities as possible to enact this. As service to the community, Malcam programmes include a significant community service component.
