Tokomaru Bay Pastorate was established in 1863 and is the oldest pastorate in the Waiapu Diocese. Saint Mary's Church was erected around 1884 and still continues to service the wider community. However St Mary's Church is in need of renovations and restoration work and we are seeking your help and support.

Tokomaru Bay Pastorate was the first pastorate to be established in the Waiapu Diocese, Te Pihopatanga o te Tairawhiti (from Dannevirke to the East Cape) in 1863. Our Church Saint Mary's is the only Anglican Church left in Tokomaru Bay. We still hold services at Saint Mary's Church and she continues to service the wider community, and those who come from overseas wanting to attend a place of Christian worship. However, Saint Mary's Church, is in need of care and restoration and we would greatly appreciate your help and support.
Use of funds
The Funds raised will be used to replace the roof, replace the exterior corrugated iron and renovate the interior of Saint Mary's church, Tokomaru Bay.
