Totara Hospice

We support patients and their families living with life limiting illness with a focus on quality of life. All of our services are provided free of charge to any person regardless of age, ethnicity, illness or need. Our organisation is highly reputed and at one point or another, most individuals will have contact with Hospice directly or in-directly.

We have a 20 bed in-patient unit providing 24 hour medical care (9 operational beds), managing an average monthly caseload of 400-600 patients, Community Nurses make around 10,000 annual visits, and Day Hospice operates 3 days a week to over 1000 patients. To continue to provide this free service in our community we need to raise over $3.8million each year.
