In her last days my wife and I discussed how we could repay in some small measure the enormous debt of gratitude we owed to hospice and their many volunteers. After listening to me thinking about the practicalities of a fund-raising tractor-trek, my wife simply said: "Do it!"
So in planning this trek I see the fulfillment of my promise to my darling wife and her legacy to those who cared for her.
