We are a unique village cluster of diverse arts/crafts studios and accommodation for working artists and crafts groups in the Hawke's Bay.

Hawke's Bay

We offer affordable workshops for working artists and crafts groups. We house the Taradale Pottery Group, Hawkes Bay Wood Turners Guild, and a Master Carver of traditional Maori carving, also traditional Maori flax weaving harakeke, cast glass, mosaic, bronze sculptor and painters. We have a class room for art/craft teachers to rent and an arts and crafts shop

The Arts Village has been operating since 1989. We provide 21 facilities for hundreds of our local arts and crafts people of all ages and backgrounds to enjoy and benefit from socially, culturally and economically.

We are receiving increasing numbers of visitors from the cruise ships stopping in Napier.

We are a not for profit organisation which offers affordable studio space for working artists and local craft groups. This vibrant, social and cultural campus plays host to over 100 creatives.

The Artists onsite work in a diverse range of mediums including ceramics, pottery, traditional Maori wood carving, greenstone carving, traditional Maori flax weaving, bronze casting, Urban contemporary murals, painting, printmaking, photography and carnival arts.

We have a class room for art and craft education and community events.

We have an outstanding Gallery of artworks, a pottery shop and a craft shop onsite.
