Wairarapa Volunteer Centre was launched in August 2014 and is an arm of the Wairarapa Community Centre, which is run by a trust. The Trustees are a group of volunteers who are pleased to be at the point of expanding service delivery to the local community.

Wairarapa Volunteer Centre enrols organisations from the "not for profit" sector which are also a registered charity.

We cover the whole of the Wairarapa from Featherston south to Mt Bruce in the north.

Wairarapa Volunteer Centre was launched in August 2014. We are governed by a board of 8 volunteers who know the key networks, strategies and practices what are required to support and develop our community. Wairarapa Volunteer Centre provides referrals, training workshops, network forum and mentoring programme to community groups in our region; this enriches and strengthens their services. We also provide promotions, recruitment, interview, and training services to volunteers; to assist with personal development, increased self esteem and a connection to contribute to their community.
