Youth Performance Trust (YPT)
YPT is a youth mentoring organisation seeking to uplift and promote youth well-being through performance and sports engagement activity.

YPT's mission statement is to 'be a catalyst for innovative change' for our target group of youth - Maori and Pacific.
YPT was founded in 2003 and over the years has run a number of youth workshops, expo and holiday programmes. We are now in an expansion phase and looking to do much more.
YPT ran Smokefree Pacifica Beats from 2006 - 2015 as a flagship portal for youth to engage, be creative and aspire towards a professional career in music, while having fun on the way.
In 2016 YPT began Matariki Rhythmz along the same lines but now including dance as a medium for youth participants to express themselves on the floor.
YPT also runs 'Youth Arts Space', a workshop series where youth have the opportunity to develop multi-arts approaches to issues and problems of the day.
Your donation will help us provide more programmes with more quality and resource.

YPT was founded in 2003 as a mechanism and catalyst to uplift Polynesian youth in Aotearoa through performance arts and sports.
Over the years we have run many workshop initiatives, holiday programmes and the like. For ten years we also ran Smokefree Pacifica Beats (2006 - 2015).
In 2016 YPT started Matariki Rhythmz, high school music and dance comp, as a means to further promoting and supporting creative youth in music and dance.
