Ember Design: Redesigning Our Future Together

WHAT WE DO:

We are the provider of interior design solutions, layouts and styling. Allowing clients to express their ideas and personality through customised design.

This is achieved by Calita’s extended research, colour expertise, and her comprehensive interactive survey. Along side Reuben’s CAD software knowledge, and experience from working at a custom kitchen design company.

Our clients receive plans, elevations, item lists and high quality renders. The information required to implement their design, and the ability to have the design costed and quoted.

ABOUT US:

We have been married for three years and are currently studying Visual Art & Design, at EIT, together.

Reuben enjoys problem solving, functional design and customer service. He has good attention-to-detail, and is able to critically evaluate an idea.

Calita’s passion lies in colour, nature and pushing the boundaries. She prides herself in being able to source information, and organise it accordingly.

She brings emotion into design, through colour and textile, and has great people skills and empathy for helping people to achieve their dreams.

As a couple and business, we want to reduce our impact on the environment. By utilising technology, proven process and preventing possible design mishaps, we believe we are providing a service that aims to be sustainable.

OUR STORY:

In June of this year our daughter Ember-Ruby was born premature. We were delighted to meet her, but sadly she was only with us for a short time. She died the day she was born.

Meeting little-Ember sparked our determination to carry on her memory.

The help and support we received during such a significant time has also made us rethink what is important.

We now focus our skills and education into helping others, and want to make this Ember Design’s mission.
