Solar Powered Go-Kart

Help raise funds to finish our electric Go-kart. for our school project. To benefit the education of students in lower desile schools.

My project partner (Timothy Chua) and I (Shaun wright) are building and electric powered go-kart that uses solar charging. The project is going to be used as an educational tool for students. Demonstrating the fundamentals of science, technology and mathematics. We hope to visit schools around New Zealand and encourage students to take science math and technology further in their educations. We are focusing on lower decile schools. This project has also been a dream of ours and with your help we can make that a reality.

I am one of two designers, constructors and builders of the go-kart. My teammate and I have built everything from scratch, welded the frame from recycled metal, designed all the parts for the kart.
Use of funds
The funds will be going to the parts required to finish our kart. Which include; lithium ion battery packs, tools, bolts and sheet metal.
