OKV Sustain 2000 Fundraiser - Kotahi Queens

This November The Community Builders NZ Trust is fundraising to sustain all their Ōtara community projects to remain in place for another two years. Covid recovery is going to take a long time, and initiatives under the trust help to relieve and uplift Ōtara residents. You can see their work through:

- The Ōtara Kai Village

- Ōtara Bike Burb

- Ōtara Youth Hub

- Pātaka Kai

- Ōtara Maara Kai

- My Street Movement

- Clover Park Community House

- NCLSV Apparel

Kotahi Queens are the mother and daughters team of Shar Renata, Memphis Luke and Candice Luke (Candy L'amour). Starting on the 15th of November, Kotahi Queens will take our first steps of 100km (walking or running) to fundraise for these amazing and vital community initiatives. So give us a hand, pick a number, and donate the corresponding amount through this Give-a-Little page. Follow Candy L'amour on Facebook to track out progress!

Donation/Koha Example:

1 = $1 koha

100 = $100 koha

Thanks for your koha! Lesgoooo!!! And don't forget to follow all the initiatives on social media!

FIRST WALK!   9 November 2021

Yesterday (Monday 8 Nov) mum and I did our first walk! We cleared a combined 9km heading from our whare around Hillside down to Panama Rd park, round to Mt Wellington Highway and back. Mum walks so fast I was struggling to keep up! And it was strange because we both did the same walk but got different km on our trackers. Must be coz I’m iPhone gang I got the higher kms 😂 Thank you to our donors in the past 24 hours! Lasike, the Francks and Radhi! Y’all are the real MVPs!
