On June 2nd 2013, a number of ordinary Cantabrians will be seeking to achieve their own personal goals by completing the Christchurch Airport Marathon, Half Marathon, 10k, or Kids' Mara'Fun - and raising money for Harold the Giraffe of the Life Education Trust
To sponsor one of our athletes, please go to their pages on the Fundraisers tab. Harold himself will be running the half marathon - no small achievement in a very warm 9-foot tall 30lb suit!! And he'll have Monty the Monkey for company!!

Big day tomorrow - well done to the team, almost $6000 raised in total now, hopefully we can crack past that milestone with donations on the course tomorrow. Come out & support Harold & Monty, and all the rest of the crew. Races start at 8.30am, with Harold and Monty expecting to finish some time after 10.30 (possibly quite a long time after 10.30......). Finn and Tara go in the kids Mara'Fun at 12.30pm.
