The Purple Cake Kids Triathlon on 23 March 2014 is organized by a group of fantastic young Nelson children (5 to 7 yr olds) as their way to raise money for Purple Cake Day - "Kids Helping Kids All Over the World'. Funds go to provide education opportunities for children in poverty in Haiti, Nepal and Kenya.

We want to help children in Haiti, Nepal and Kenya who don't get to go to school because we love learning to read and write and count and do fun things at our school. If we raise some money for Purple Cake Day then these children can go to school and have fun reading and writing like we do.
