The Zero Hero Challenge

Nationwide

During the next week I will be fundraising for Students Against Dangerous Driving (SADD). SADD is an effective, student-led, schools-based road safety programme driven by secondary aged students across the country to reduce the harm caused on our roads.

As an incentive to donate, I will complete challenges once each fundraising goal is met:

$20: No coffee or chocolate for a week (harder than it sounds)

$40: Sober driver for a week

$60: Baking drop to emergency services within the city

$100: Fatal Vision Goggles to be worn for one hour (simulates impairment due to alcohol)

$150: Donate blood (I really dislike needles)

$200: Run 10km sporting a cardboard car

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
