Annual Bike Ride raising funds for this lifesaving service - Our Rescue Choppers.

Nationwide

13th Annual Westpac Chopper Bike Ride from Queenstown to Invercargill - 235kms May 10th 2024. All funds raised will go the Lakes District Air Rescue Trust. Goal is to have 80-100 riders taking part to ride the 235kms (approx).

We are calling this our Million Dollar Ride as we are confident we will raise the $ 80,000 to take our total over the 13 rides to > $1,000,000.

Previous riders include Richie McCaw, Mils Miliaina, Jimmy Cowan, Aaron Gate, John Kirwan and Campbell Stewart. Keep an eye on the updates to see who might show up this year.

You never know when you or someone you love will need this life saving service as some of our regular bike riders can attest to.

Thank you to our riders, support crew, sponsors, celebrities and host schools for another amazing year and fundraising effort. But a very special thanks to all who gave to this wonderful cause supporting us and helping us reach our goal. Across all our fundraising efforts we have raised > $ 145,000 for the Lakes District Air Rescue Trust. Looking forward to seeing you all back again in 2025.
