Hawke's Bay

Support DSRHB's Active in August Challenge!

Disability Sport and Recreation Hawke’s Bay is taking part in the Parafed Network’s Active in August Challenge – a national campaign to get disabled Kiwis moving and connected through sport and recreation.

From 4–31 August, our members, staff, committee and community will be walking, wheeling, swimming, lifting and more to build momentum and raise awareness for inclusive sport.

Your donation helps us continue delivering low-cost, accessible programmes for disabled tamariki, rangatahi and adults across Hawke’s Bay. Every dollar supports fun, friendship, fitness – and lifelong impact.

💚 You can support us by donating – or even create your own fundraising team to help us reach more people through the power of sport.

Let’s move together – and make it count.

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause. Tax credit
Donations of over $5 are eligible for a New Zealand charitable giving tax credit.
