Fundraiser Cycling the length of Aotearoa and finding coeliac safe places to eat along the way,

Nationwide

Well they did it - but It's not over yet !

Together Andrew Trevelyan & Maximus Smitheram (Max is on the CNZ board) rode the length of NZ in 2022 to raise funds for Coeliac NZ. We are so very proud of them and also very appreciative of the support we have recived for the givealittle event. It's not over yet !(We increased the target from $5k to $7k as there is still 3 months after the lads finish their journey to fundraise until coeliac awareness week and people can join in on the cycle for coeliac challenge - ride some kms as an individual, team on your bike at home, at the gym, on the road or trail and get pledges for the kms you ride from friends colleagues and whanau and lets see if we can raise more funds and awareness together!)

They started this journey on 1 March at Cape Reinga and arrived at Bluff on the 4th of April. Read all the updates and see all the photos on the facebook and instagram pages.

During their tour they discovered very limited coeliac safe eating places that are gluten free. You can donate anytime via this givealittle page to support Max and Andrews ‘Gluten Free for Life’ tour of Aotearoa. Funds donated help Coeliac New Zealand to continue to educate and support individuals and whanau to confidently and safely live their best life with this lifelong auto-immune condition.

Join the journey for coeliac safe living well!

Make a donation now to this givealittle page to help Coeliac NZ to raise awareness about coeliac disease in your community.

You can also enter the cycle for coeliac challenge to ride your bike individually or as a team at home, at school, at the gym, on the track, on the road wherever and whenever you like and as many kms as you like. You register and then get pledges and we add up all the kms between now and end of June to see if we can match what Andrew and Max have done. Please email healthpromotion@coeliac.org.nz for registration and pledge forms or more info.
