Various groups and individuals are busy creating works of art to bring colour and inspiration to those visiting Greerton Village
Bay of Plenty
For the last several years creatives from around Aotearoa New Zealand and even some artist from elsewhere in the world have participated in bringing Greerton's bare winter cherry trees to life with colourful yarn installations. In previous years public vote and judging has taken place to award winning installations with a donation to their charity. This year, to support them through the entire journey of their creation we are giving all the individuals and groups participating the opportunity to knit or crochet for a charity close to their heart. On the pages connected to this event you can learn about who our artists are and support the mahi they are doing to raise awareness and funds for some amazing kiwi charities.
