This October, during Mental Health Month, Snap Fitness is inspiring New Zealanders to move their mood by making daily physical activity a priority. Exercise doesn’t just make you stronger – it’s one of the most powerful tools we have for supporting mental health. Regular movement can help reduce stress, lift your mood, and is often recommended as one of the top treatments for depression and anxiety. At Snap Fitness, we believe that when you move your body, you move your mind.
Whether it’s a gym session, a walk with friends, a bike ride, or stretching at home, every step counts towards boosting both physical and mental well-being.
This Mental Health Month, we’re inviting our community to get active while making a difference. Together, we’ll raise funds and awareness for our charity partner, I AM HOPE, who are dedicated to promoting positive mental health for young people across New Zealand and providing free counselling services to those who need it most.
100% of all funds raised go directly to I AM HOPE to support their vital work in youth mental health advocacy and support services.
