A vibrant community event where participants come together in a sea of pink to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research.

Since 2006, the Pink Walk & Run has brought Waikato together in a vibrant show of solidarity for breast cancer awareness and research. Whether you walk the 3.8km route around Hamilton Lake or run the 5km run through Innes Common, every step makes a difference.

Wear pink to raise awareness or yellow to support local research - or better yet, mix both! With fantastic prizes for best-dressed participants (including kids and even dogs), medals for top runners, and exciting team competitions, there’s something for everyone.

Stay for the post-event festivities, where a sausage sizzle, hot coffee, and sweet treats await. Hosted by Stu from The Breeze Waikato FM, it’s a day of fun, community spirit, and hope for a future free of breast cancer.
