Fifteen bike enthusiasts from the Matakana community will challenge themselves to ride from Auckland - Bluff to raise funds for Camp Bentzon
Auckland
A group of bike enthusiasts from the Matakana community came together to map out a ride covering as much of NZ as possible. They decided the ultimate challenge would be to do the journey on postie bikes (Honda CT110), travelling down the West Coast of NZ over 10 days in November 2015.
The purpose of the trip is to raise funds to enable Camp Bentzon on Kawau Island to rebuild their current wharf, costing approx $200,000. The wharf is an integral part of the camp as there is only access via boat. The current wharf needs replacing within the next 12-18 months.
If you would like to support the guys on their journey, please do so by either contributing a donation on the organisations page, otherwise you can support one of the riders on their individual fundraiser page. ALL proceeds go directly to Camp Bentzon. No rider or other organisation will benefit from any donations on Givealittle.
