Every cent raised from Pound the Pavement for Plunket will go toward Plunket's much loved Family Centres and parenting education programs in Auckland and Northland.

Plunket understands the enormous impact that a new baby has on the life of its parents, and the changes – and occasional difficulties – that new parents can experience.

Plunket's Family Centres offer timely and comprehensive support when families need it most. Families who visit a Family Centre receive support around, breastfeeding, infant nutrition, sleeping, child behaviour and parent/family needs. Support, that for many families makes a world of difference.

Plunket has also developed a number of free parenting classes, suited to a range of learning styles. These courses provide practical and proven support ensuring that new parents are given the tools that they need to navigate their child's development.

In short, support raised will ensure that Plunket's support services are always available to those who need them.
