Ritimana Kohanga Reo has one major fundraiser each year and this year we are putting our feet on the street and participating in the Waitakere Half Marathon and Fun Run. With distances of 5km, 11km, and 21km whānau of our tamariki have chosen a distance to push themselves and would appreciate your encouragement and support in this wero (challenge)!

Ritimana Kohanga Reo is a Māori language medium early childhood centre operating under the Ministry of Education. We are licensed for 30 tamariki aged two and over.

Ritimana has an absolute commitment to tamariki and whānau. We are committed to the retention and enrichment of te reo and Tïkanga Māori, through a learning environment where everyone is encouraged to communicate in te reo Māori. We believe in a holistic approach to education, whereby tamariki learn through play, developing creativity and imagination.
