Help Coeliac NZ create safer dining experiences for the gluten-free community! Your donation supports essential allergen management training
Nationwide
Why are we fundraising?
Dining out should be a pleasure, not a risk. Yet, for those who must follow a gluten-free diet, every meal outside the home can feel like navigating a minefield—hidden gluten, cross-contamination, and the fear of being misunderstood. Some restaurants go the extra mile to ensure safety, but others don’t take the risk of cross-contamination seriously enough. That’s where we come in!
Coeliac NZ is on a mission to create safer dining experiences by delivering essential allergen management training to hospitality venues. With your help, we can equip restaurants and cafes to serve the gluten-free community with confidence and care.
How can you help?
RAISE IT! Whether as an individual or a team, every fundraising effort counts. Host a sponsored walk, run, get-together, bake sale, or even a school mufti day—the possibilities are endless!
GIVE IT! Donate what you’ve raised to our Givealittle page—and yes, donations over $5 come with tax credits!
GET IT! A safer dining experience for everyone in the gluten-free community.

Hey you can vote for us in the competition below 23 June 2025
Coeliac New Zealand has been nominated to receive a $1,000* donation from Optimal Clinical Trials, and with enough votes, we could be the recipient.
Optimal Clinical Trials, a New Zealand-based research organisation helping to develop new medicines through safe, carefully run clinical studies. This initiative is their way of giving back to community groups like ours.
Here’s how it works
Optimal Clinical Trials are donating $1,000* to one nominated organisation. The group with the most public votes will receive the donation. Our organisation is one of the final few in the running. Now it’s simply about getting your community to vote and show their support.
How to get involved
Feel free to forward this info to your networks to spread the word and increase our chances of receiving the $1,000 donation.
Voting is open now and closes 31 July 2025
